Makati Shang as we usually call it, is where I celebrated our Junior Prom back in High School. A few weeks back, I had the opportunity to take a peek on what will happen on this year’s Vows of Elegance event and these are proofs that this hotel has an eye for details and superior craftsmanship on what they do.
In partnership with Rita Neri Event Planners, Makati Shang will hold Vows of Elegance 2018 (the much anticipated showcase of the wedding and celebration industry’s crème de la crème) on September 22 to 23, 2018 in the largest and most sophisticated ballroom in Makati City! There’s so many things happening in this two-day event!
For this year’s presentation of Vows of Elegance, the organisers will offer inspiration and ideas to celebrants embarking on a milestone event, by bringing together the country’s leaders in events management. The event is also supported by Robert Blancaflor, renowned event stylist; Albert Kurniawan, popular celebrity make-up artist; and Forscink Inc., professional audiovisual equipment provider. Such a powerhouse team indeed.
During the event, guests will be mesmerized by the remarkable tablescapes of the best events stylists in the country, namely Joyce Aguilar, Nikki Chatto, Jo Claravall, Gideon Hermosa, Teddy Manuel, Zenas Pineda, Michael Ruiz and Dave Sandoval.
The highlight of the weekend showcase will be the two-day fashion show. The Bridal Fashion Show on 22 September will feature the latest bridal gown collections by the country’s top designers, namely Debbie Co, Michael Leyva and Patricia Santos. The show starts at 6 p.m. at the Rizal Ballroom. The Children’s Fashion Show on 23 September 2018 will feature luxe children’s gowns and tuxedoes designed by Maureen Disini, Vin Orias and Cor Sunglao-Kho. The show starts at 3 p.m. at the Lobby Lounge.
