Kid-friendly Halloween Trick or Treat Events in Metro Manila 2016

(I will be updating the list every now and then so feel free to check it again)

In the Philippines, Halloween before didn’t have adults and kids wearing costumes. Halloween was a time to remember and honor our dead relatives and friends where families go to cemeteries (some overnight) and offer prayers. It is also a family gathering of some sort too where you meet other relatives who visit the dead. But as time passed, people have been dressing up and so as their kids for trick or treat events in the country. Well, mostly trick or treat has been a practice for kids here in the Philippines now. I personally don’t go to costume parties of adults since I find it a reason to flaunt your adventurous self. I still need to be convinced. Not a fan of it but I have friends who dress up for halloween parties in clubs and bars around. Whatever gives us fun and entertainment 🙂

Are you ready to dress your kids up and enjoy? Sharing my top picks and my list of the activities around Metro Manila this 2016. Bring your children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends with you! Have fun making wonderful memories!

There’s so much to choose from. Pick what suits your kid’s interests and it will be part of their childhood memories. But don’t forget that halloween means honoring our dead loved ones during All Soul’s Day (November 2) and the saints during All Saint’s Day (November 1). Don’t forget to teach the true meaning of the occasion to your children. They will pass it on to the next generation. Offer prayers for the souls and the saints.

We can’t wait to celebrate this year with 2 kiddos!

Happy Halloween! 🙂
