Celebrate Your Purpose

Sometimes we get so caught up in our busy lives that we forget to pause. We tend to forget what we are living for, why we are working hard, why we do our best in what we do, or why we do what we do.

I went to a workshop called “Celebrate your Purpose” by Kimi Lu and Marianne Mencias. This is one of the protons workshops I previously posted. Kimi Lu is a wonderful and expert life coach and Marianne Mencias is the author of What’s Your Life’s Masterpiece? and an inspirational speaker. You may grab a copy of her book in National Bookstores, Powerbooks, and Fully Booked nationwide.

This workshop will make you learn more about yourself, ignite your passions and soar higher, know what your purpose is, be inspired, learn how to compartmentalize, re-affirm your purpose, and know how to really embrace and love your life to the fullest. It is really inspiring!

I was wondering myself what will we do in this workshop, what will happen, and how will we celebrate our purpose. It was a Saturday afternoon well spent with people I know and new friends. The activities left good memories and realizations for me.

Reality is that we go by our day not knowing what we really want in life. Or sometimes, we know but we just don’t have the courage and right attitude to make it happen when we’re caught up with our normal routine and in our comforts zones already. We just don’t want to break the momentum of our lives for something unsure.

The activities we did in this workshop really reaffirmed who I am and made me know myself better. I was reminded who I am, what I can improve on in my life, and what else I can do in the future. Life indeed has a wonderful way of reminding me these things through this workshop. Kimi and Marianne have this gift of bringing out the positive and the goodness in people they meet. They are living their purpose and celebrating it through positive encouragement and love for others.

Never been with such a bubbly bunch for quite some time now and this group made me feel at home. Everything about the place and the company I was with in this workshop made me feel I can be just me. It was one heartwarming and unforgettable experience I’d love to do again.

Once you know your purpose and goals in life, you will live everyday happier, learn to love everyone through it, and you’ll be more contented in your life. This is me now 🙂

Meeting new people and knowing that some of my behaviors and attitudes are normal made me feel happier and at ease with myself. The workshop had a mini visualization/ meditation too that helped me recollect my life after years of new experiences (especially now that I am a mother).

Now that I am about to give birth to my second child, this workshop helped me realize what really matters most in life. My greatest fear before was failing to check everything in my checklist of stuff to finish and accomplish in life. Now, it changed. My greatest fear is to live my life without doing what I love most, with the people I value the most, and without using my purpose to the fullest. But I am confident that with God’s grace and guidance, I will be able to make the most out of every day.

I realized that our purpose may not be the biggest there is in the entire universe but it is always big enough to fill our entire lives with happiness, beauty, and love and even spread it to others.

I highly recommend this workshop to anyone- whatever your profession is. It’s a wonderful and amazing experience to go through an afternoon of happy vibes, reflection, and celebration. We celebrated big time each of our purpose! These workshops will make the world a better and brighter place for us to live in! 🙂
