I got this as a gift recently. This common stone in many gemstone shops have then caught my curiosity and got me into reading about jade’s history, components, and the meaning of this stone to a few fields of study.

I have long ignored this stone and never even bothered knowing what it meant to those who wear it. And so my readings have lead me to knowing more and appreciating this stone more than ever. I have actually underestimated jade all this time:

Amazing right? Jade has so many uses to so many fields of study!

Stone wearing has long been practiced by many believers amd non-believers alike. Gem stones are more worn now for fashion than for utility and its supposedly real use (unless you strictly follow Chinese gemstone beliefs).

The love for many gemstones and the meanings they carry is a sign that humanity is always in search for perfection in their lives. We use these stones for our search for some elements missing or elements we want more in our lives like love, luck, charm, protection, and happiness. But let us not forget:

“Perfection is the enemy of the realistic, the possible, and the fun.”- Rebecca Stone

For whatever purpose and how these stones help us in our everyday lives, we shouldn’t just base all out decisions and actions in beliefs solely in gem stones. We must work hard, think smart, have faith, pray to the Most Powerful Being above us to guide and protect us.

For mommies and daddies out there, let’s always remember that:

“The most beautiful necklace a mother can wear is not gold or gems, but her child’s arms around her neck.”

My curiosity for this jade gemstone has led me to gaining more knowledge about gemstones in general. It’s a complicated field of research and belief that I respect and salute.

This bracelet given to me is a good fashion sense for my everyday OOTDs 😊 If it also gives me protection, love, and healing, then thank you jade!

Enjoy your gemstones for whichever purpose you believe in! Their are treasures given to us.
