Most girls have beauty pouches in their bags and they feel naked when they accidentally left it somewhere. Some even have 2 beauty kits- for everyday (with the basic beauty needs) and for special occasion (for more complicated beauty needs). Girls’ wants and needs are never the same because each one is beautifully unique in her own way.
Once in a while I change what’s inside my kit depending on what my preference is for the week or month. But for some time now, I have a consistent beauty line up in it.

PRODUCT 1: Brow Zings eyebrow shaping kit by Benefit Cosmetics
Why I love it: It’s very compact with a mirror and comes with 2 brushes (angled brush to apply the pigmented wax and a blending brush to apply the settling powder) and it even has a small tweezer. It comes in 3 shades – light, medium, and dark. It lasts for a long time depending on frequency of use of course and how thick you apply it daily. I ha ven’t seen any brow kit as complete and compact as this one.

PRODUCT 2: OCC (Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic) Lip Tar
Why I love it: It is 100% vegan and cruelty-free without having to sacrifice the quality of the product. It has a thick, dewy look and feels comfortable on the lips. A thin layer of it is sometimes enough to achieve that thick lipstick look you want. It comes with an applicator brush so as to not stain your finger in applying. Its natural ingredients makes it safe even for pregnant ladies to use. This is my first lip tar product and I love it.
Just a tip: Sometimes lip tars can dry the lips up so always condition your lips.
OCC lip tars are like tube of small paints. You can actually mix the color together if you want to try something new or if you’re adventurous enough.

PRODUCT 3: Mineral ColorCreme Lipstick by Human Nature
Why I love it: It contains natural ingredients (cocoa butter, sunflower seed oil, passion fruit seed oil, and natural vitamin E) that are safe for even pregnant women. It’s not dry and keeps my lips moisturized so I’m not worried on over applying everyday and then eventually get dry chapped lips. It comes in different shades and it’s even affordable for its superior quality. It’s also slim and easy to apply. It’s also made locally in the Philippines by a company who is pro-poor, pro-environment, and pro-charity.

PRODUCT 4: Prestige Cosmetics Multitask Wet and Dry Powder Foundation
Why I love it: I can use this as loose powder or foundation base. It comes with a two-sided applicator – one side to apply the loose powder and the other for wet foundation base. It comes in handy when I have a few blemishes or pimples to cover. It has a compact case with a mirror too which is really important when you’re on the go instead of having a separate mirror. It lasts for a long time too. I’ve been using mine for almost a year now.
It comes in several shades too and blends naturally on the skin.

PRODUCT 5: ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer
Why I love it: I really love this brand! It’s really the most affordable makeup brand in my makeup kit for the past years. ELF (stand for Eyes, Lips, Face) Cosmetics is a company based in New York City and offers affordable makeup with great quality. I have a separate blush brush for it since I’m picky with my brushes.
Having a very fair skin makes me look really pale so this gives me the natural rosy cheeks glow.

Yup, my everyday beauty kit doesn’t include mascara and lash curler since I always scratch my eye accidentally, it just scatters and goes into my eyes sometimes. These are for formal evening events.
