We’d like to believe that we’re a couple with the right “cheesiness” in social media. The extra sweet stuff are of course just between us as a couple. That’s normally how life was before the proliferation of social media. I hope not many people in today’s society fall into the trap of posing for a wonderful happy life just in social media. Let’s make everything we do in whatever way genuine and real.
There are so many things in life that shouldn’t change even if you have children and one of those is being a couple in love and still celebrating the special events in your life together. Even just after marriage, your relationship should even get stronger and sweeter. When your children are still small, stolen moments together become so much sweeter.
This year we decided to have a breakfast date for Valentine’s day. Like last year, when I was pregnant with my first born daughter, we had a breakfast buffet at Spectrum Fairmont, Makati. A memorable Valentine’s as a couple before I gave birth to our daughter.

This year, being pregnant with our son, we decided to make it a tradition to make Valentine’s date a breakfast thing while we have small children. Wildflour seemed to have a good breakfast menu, it was near our place, and price was relatively reasonable as compared to having a breakfast buffet in a hotel. It was a great morning indeed!

(Eggs, crispy potatoes, breakfast sausage or bacon steak)

We enjoyed our (for now) rare alone time dates and ate our hearts out again! Food was really good. No wonder the restaurant is packed with people in the morning. We usually eat here at dinner time and pick from a different menu but still, the food is always good. We reserved days before for Valentine’s just to make sure we have a table.
With everything we ordered, we spent less than P1,500. Which is not really that bad for a good Valentine’s date. The extravagance of celebrating this day is our quality time together. We enjoyed our 14th Valentine’s breakfast date in a simple way just like all our other 13 Valentine’s day celebrations.
