Homemade natural juices for baby & the whole family

20160203_181943-1.jpgSince not all of the vitamins from some fruits are taken by my baby everyday, I decided to make natural juices for her to drink. These are so easy to make with very few ingredients. Even working moms and busy moms can make these in a few minutes everyday. These are not just for babies, of course the whole family can drink them too.

Been making these 4 for the past week and the family loves it!

LEMONADE

What you need for 1 pitcher:

  1. 3-4 lemons
  2. natural honey (if you want to lessen the sourness & make it sweeter)
  3. orange or lemon juicer
  4. clean drinking water (enough to fill the pitcher)

How to do it:

  1. Squeeze all the lemons, remove seeds, and put in the pitcher.
  2. Fill up with enough clean drinking water (depending on how sour you’d like to make your lemonade). Mix well.
  3. Add honey to taste. Mix well.
  4. Chill, serve and enjoy!

ORANGE JUICE

** pretty much the same process as that of lemonade.

What you need for half a pitcher:

  1.  6-8 oranges (depending on the size and amount of juice extracted)
  2. natural honey (if you want to lessen the sourness & make it sweeter)
  3. orange juicer
  4. clean drinking water (enough to fill the pitcher)

How to do it:

  1. Squeeze all the oranges, remove seeds, and put in the pitcher.
  2. Fill up with enough clean drinking water (depending on how sour you’d like to make your orange juice). Mix well.
  3. Add honey to taste. Mix well.
  4. Chill, serve and enjoy!

MELON JUICE

What you need for 1 pitcher:

  1. half a melon
  2. natural honey (to add sweetness or if none, you may use white sugar)
  3. blender or a melon/ coconut stripper (pangayod ng melon or buko in Filipino)
  4. clean drinking water (enough to fill the pitcher)
  5. milk (you may add a cup for melon milk drink)

How to do it:

  1. For blender: cut the half melon into cubes then blender until lumpy or with small chewable pieces. Careful not to over blender if you’d like small chewable melon pieces. Add the milk too if you want. Put them in the pitcher.
  2. For melon stripper: scrape the melon until the shell part and put them in the  pitcher.
  3. Fill up with enough clean drinking waterMix well.
  4. Add honey/ sugar to taste (and milk). Mix well.
  5. Chill and serve and enjoy!

BANANA JUICE

What you need for half a pitcher:

  1. 4 medium sized bananas
  2. natural honey (to add sweetness or if none, you may use white sugar)
  3. blender
  4. clean drinking water (2-3 cups)
  5. 1 cup milk

How to do it:

  1. Cut the banana smaller pieces and put them in the blender with milk, water, honey/sugar.

Happy healthy drinking! 🙂
