Cakes will forever be part of a person’s birthday celebration (regardless of age). A cake holds candles which represents the age of the birthday celebrator. As a symbol of unity, everyone gathers to sing the happy birthday song and the celebrator will traditionally make a wish (usually not recited aloud but only to himself/ herself) and then blow the flames form the candles out. If you get them all in one blow, it is said that all your wishes will come true. Maybe just putting fun to the tradition too.

A Cake usually represents a person- his/ her personality and favourites. For kids, their cakes are usually carriers characters and designs they like. For adults, cake nowadays may still have those traditional sugar flowers but it can be a unique and special cake for the celebrator. Cakes for adults may also come in a well-decorated fondant cake. Cake transformed from colorful icings and sweet messages to a whole new level and to add, the really skillful bakers today are nailing it.

This kids only includes those with reliable and good customer service. We’ve also encountered a few bakers who are actually big and known to many but when we gave feedback about a cake we ordered, they simply ignored it. Always get from those who treat their customer with utmost care and respect at all times.

Whatever design it may be, one thing is for sure- no celebration will go by without a sweet cake and unique cake that everyone will enjoy! This list is in no particular order.

We love their rainbow fiesta cake too! Known for their beautiful and delicious cupcakes and of course, their dainty-ambiance branches. Now that they have cakes and have more products in their line up like plant based cakes and their healthy line up too. They also have regular promos that you should watch out for. If you want your cake to be perfect to the tiniest detail, then Sugarplum Pastries it is! Every cake crafted with love and precision. They can put effects and lights on your cake too or check with them where creativity can take you. During this pandemic, it’s best to pick up the cakes at their bakeshop in Quezon City to preserve the perfect look of their cakes.

We enjoyed their cheesecake shortcrusts (photo below) for the birthday of our senior aunt last June 4 too! These are perfect for those who are watching their sweets intake. Don’t be fooled by its sweet appearance though.

Their cakes may appear simple at first (which we actually prefer) but it’s taste and freshness is definitely a two-thumbs up! Costa Brava had been part of a lot of our family’s milestones since I was in college when I think they were just starting that time. They customize simple cakes too. No fondant cakes though for those looking for fondant cakes. I love our wedding cake from them too, remembered meeting the owner and discussed the details and it turned out exactly how I imagined it to be- with fresh roses! A A lot of the the special events and milestones of our children’s lives, their cakes were Costa Brava too. They also have homemade food and other products. They usually join Powerplant’s Baker’s Fair almost every weekend. White marshmallow cake and caramel cakes are our ultimate favorite.

We love how not commercialized they are (not available in several malls and not sold in different places) also because they prefer to keep the quality of their cakes when they sell them and they maintain it up to this day. Great passion will always yield outstanding outcomes. Bella, the owner and main baker at Sugar Corner  started with cakes and cupcakes and eventually taught for those who want to learn how to make beautiful cakes that requires awesome skills and practice in her bake shop studio. She got several TV features too. Nothing beats a brand made with genuine love for their craft. We love their cakes and cupcakes and how custom-made cakes and cupcakes turn out.

They cater to different cakes of all shapes, sizes, and kinds. Their cakes are such beauties especially the drip cakes. Order in advance! They announce regularly the days when they’re fully booked already. That’s how good they are!

Their cakes evolved and improved through time. They now have rainbow dedication cakes and you can order cakes online already too. They bake customized cakes too. Arrange with the nearest Red Ribbon branch.

Aside from their regular cakes and rolls, they now have fondant cakes! They have theme cakes, greeting cakes, caharacter cakes, baptismal cakes, debut cakes and many more! You’ll be surprised how much cakes they now offer. You may even decorate your own cake. They sell toppers too.

Their Creme Brulee cakes are the best! I’m sure their other cakes are good too. Homemade goodness with every slice indeed!

This is your go-to stylish desserts and snacks for your next special event. Their Confetti cakes are awesome!

Yes, they have cakes and celebration cakes. Simple design but really affordable and the taste is actually good too! It’s a simple homemade-like cake you can enjoy. There’s chocolate, butter cake, and even cheesecakes too.

Their cakes is our newest favorite! Apple pie is on the top of our list. I personally never liked Apple pie until I tasted Catherine’s version. It’s a healthier option too! We also love their Chocolate cheesecake and all their cookies. They have good bagels too that are not just so easy to find around. Don’t forget to grab their cream cheese to go with the bagels. They’re very responsive and very professional. This is their 11th year in the business.
