Guilty! A new lippie again. But I have to admit, this is a good one- Anti-aging Collagen Ampoule Lipstick from The Face Shop.

This lipstick contains collagen. It is said to help give our skin strength and elasticity, and at the same time replacing dead skin cells.

The Verdict

Giving this lipstick an 8.5/10 which means I’m happy with it. I have yet to know if the anti-aging claim is for real but like all lipsticks, it make you feel good and enhances your beauty. I chose a color that’s lighter than my lip color so I can wear this everyday. Honestly, it’s not as moist as I want it to be. It’s not like like my Colourpop lippies that’s has a creamy touch but it’s a good everyday lipstick. It lasts for about 4 hours before retouch (still depends how much you eat and maybe accidentally wipe it). I aim for an everyday look when I use it so I don’t apply a lot. For night use, a thicker and fuller application is best.

I still recommend to moisturize your lips regularly at night with your lip moisturizers- lip gloss, lip creme, or as simple and effective as putting petroleum jelly (works every time!).

I also love how lovely the packaging is. Gold and glamorous are the words to describe it. You’ll definitely feel how special it is with the packaging. It comes in 15 colors but it depends if they are all available in the store. For sure, you’ll find your perfect match. Just choose the shade closest to your lip color. I chose the Moroccan Rose shade. Try it on your skin first to be sure. It costs a little below Php500. It costs more than a regular lipstick but you get money’s worth especially if you use it for a long time and you really finish it.

Sometimes a little lipstick and makeup give simple joys to some girls. This boosts our confidence and enhances their natural beautiful self which is always good for positive results in our day to day lives.
