The knowledge and campaign to promote breastfeeding is indeed widespread today than it was in the previous years and decades. My sister and I have this huge gap of 14 years and so I remember clearly how breastfeeding information wasn’t as widespread when she was born.

It is known to many that breastfeeding is best for babies up to 2 years but many moms now breastfeed until the kids are 3 or 4 years old. Kudos to moms who commit themselves to breastfeed for years. Breastfeeding is not as easy as we see it in commercials but there are so many inventions and breastfeeding aids now that make breastfeeding journey more comfortable.

Today, we have breastfeeding clothes, breast pumps, lactation aids, and breastfeeding lounges in shopping malls and places of entertainment and recreation. It makes breastfeeding convenient for many. Want to know where the breastfeeding lounges are around the city? Here they are.

Most SM Malls have breastfeeding station. Philippines became more baby and breastfeeding- friendly since the the 1990s and 2000s. It’s actually more comfortable these days for moms to go around the mall with their little babies in tow and at the same time breastfeed them while away form home. Some moms actually have that skill of covering up and breastfeed anywhere. It’s one skill I have to learn in time when we have our 3rd child perhaps?
